The British BMG Federation
The British BMG Federation was founded in 1929 and exists to promote the performance and education of banjo, mandolin, guitar and other fretted instruments.
It is committed to improving the educational opportunities for players of all ages and levels. The Federation is a registered charity.
The Federation organises teachers’ courses, an annual weekend Summer School and a biennial weekend Festival and Rally which is hosted by a different region each time. The quarterly Newsletter provides a forum for the ideas and opinions of members. It includes articles for players and teachers of fretted instruments and promotes events run by other individuals or organisations.
